Biography - CV
I Started Out as a Child.
I was a brown Crayola for Halloween when I was a child. The box of colors with the sharpener in the back was my favorite possession. I started out as a child being a colorist and coloring has been my lifelong profession.
Romeo Reyna, a tapestry artist, became my first mentor when I was 15. The first project I worked on with him was twelve feet tall and one hundred and twenty-five feet long. The list of people who elevated my career and me as a person when I was a young man is long: Tally Richards, R.C. Gorman, Veloy Vigil, and Elaine Horwitch, to name a few. All have passed away.
Being an introvert and a recluse, my way of communicating has always been by making something for someone to look at, something for someone to experience and feel, something that would make someone feel alive in the moment. My purpose has always been self evident, to create something for someone like you. ~ Rhett Lynch
